Mum-of-two 'over the moon' to have finished second in construction industry award

Andrea Williamson was the runner-up in the Professional Woman of the Year category at the Hays National Association of Women in Construction Excellence Awards Former Bedford High School pupil Andrea Williamson, who left Leigh to emigrate to New Zealand 12 years ago, finished second in the Professional Woman of the Year category at the recent Hays National Association of Women in Construction Excellence Awards held in Auckland. The 42-year-old, who has been involved in major civil engineering projects in the city, was nominated for her work as the national manger of transport systems at Fletcher Construction.
