Wall Street cheers approval of tax bill

The US Senate's approval of a tax bill has boosted Wall Street, with the indexes surging; the Dow added 0.84%, the SP 0.70% and the Nasdaq 0.61%. Wall Street indexes have surged after the US Senate passed its version of a tax code overhaul, bringing the Republicans closer to implementing corporate tax cuts.
